Rev. Seth Kaper-Dale, 41, of the Reformed Church of Highland Park says he is fed up with the usual politics. That is why he's running for governor of New Jersey. He was introduced as the Green Party's gubernatorial candidate four weeks ago.
His slogan is "The Last Are First." He wants to help the poor, implement more housing vouchers, and help undocumented immigrants become part of society. His church has taken in Syrian and other refugees, helping them get on their feet. Kaper-Dale says his progressive Christian faith lines up with progressive political values.
A Green Party candidate has never won in the state, but Kaper-Dale strongly believes he has a chance otherwise he wouldn't be running.
