Pallone, local leaders show solidarity against immigration orders

Gubernatorial candidate the Rev. Seth Kaper-Dale of the Reformed Church of Highland Park said refugees who expected to come to the United States have been put on hold.

"I have a stack of beds 15 high in the social hall that were supposed to be put into apartments for new refugee families, and to think of a president is closing down that program is just disgusting," he said. "We need rapid response in a network way."

"We need to toughen up and we need our elected officials in Trenton to toughen up and actually protect the people in our community."
